Requesting Deletion of Your Data – Best Cars Online

The Best Cars Online app does not require an account or login, so we do not hold an ongoing user profile for you. The only personal information we may hold is information you voluntarily submitted through the App's vehicle enquiry form or finance application form (for example your name, contact details, ID number, address, income details, and any documents you uploaded).

How to request deletion

To request that this information be deleted, email us at info@magicautogroup.co.za with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", including:

-> The name, email address and/or phone number you used when submitting the enquiry or finance application;

-> The vehicle or listing the enquiry/application related to (if known);

-> Confirmation that you would like this information deleted.

We will verify your request and action it within a reasonable time, and confirm once complete. You may also call us on 0722416742.

What is deleted and what may be retained

Deleted: Your contact details, enquiry/finance application form content, and any uploaded documents (ID, proof of address, bank statements) held on our systems will be permanently deleted upon a verified request.

May be retained: Where we are legally required to keep records (for example, for finance/credit-related record-keeping, audit, or fraud-prevention obligations under applicable law), we may retain limited information for the period required by that law, after which it will be deleted. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you are not personal information and are not subject to deletion.
